Bakery on the Water is a family run artisan bakery right by the river near the Motor Museum. Our bread is made from scratch using traditional artisan methods right at the front of the shop where you can see us. We do our best to use as much natural, fresh and simple local ingredients as we can, to make a range of breads suitable for all times of day.

Come and eat in the café or the Riverside Garden or take one of our picnic baskets to eat by the River.
Early in the morning the bakery and café will be filled with the smell of delicious morning pastries, croissants and freshly brewed coffee. You can try any of the breads toasted for breakfast or filled with cheeses, hot carved meats and salad.
The scones are baked throughout the day for Afternoon Tea, which we are happy to serve as soon as the first scones come out of the oven!
The afternoon in the bakery is all about making and hand-decorating cakes for the café and to gift wrap to take home.
